4 reasons people list their homes as-is!

There are several reasons why people list their home "as-is." So don't be scared!

One of the primary reasons is that the seller may not have the time or resources to make any necessary repairs or renovations.-think about it, they could be selling due to a financial crisis in the family. 

Another reason could be that the seller is looking for a quick sale and does not want to invest money into the property- maybe they're relocating for work and just need to leave ASAP!

Additionally, some sellers may have inherited a property that they do not want to invest time or money into- just because they got it for "free" doesn't mean they have the money to fix anything. This could potentially be a burden as well as a blessing. 

Finally, some sellers may be trying to avoid any potential liabilities by selling the property "as-is." -if something is a HUGE issues lets say for example Septics, structural, wetlands, these are BIG problems. Its not the same as putting on a new roof or even digging a new well. Not everyone is financially ready for items of this nature. They just need to get out! 

If you're nervous about buying a home "as-is" just remember, there is ALWAYS a reason. Try to think of what others are going through before thinking they're out to get you.
