Fall Weekend Roundup: Medford & Shamong Have You Covered
If you're looking for something to do this weekend, you don't have to go far — Medford and Shamong have three solid options happening Saturday and Sunday (Sept 19–20).
Medford Oktoberfest & Music Festival — Saturday, 1–9 PM, Freedom Park
This is the second and final day of the town's biggest annual celebration. Free admission, 20 bands playing across four stages, and a full beer garden. If you missed Friday's kickoff, Saturday is your chance to catch the bulk of the action — live music all afternoon into the evening, plus the usual festival food and crowd-favorite contests.
Johnson's Corner Farm Harvest Festival — Saturday & Sunday
Johnson's Corner Farm kicks off its Harvest Festival this weekend, running both Saturday and Sunday. Expect the classic fall farm lineup — think hayrides, pumpkins, and family-friendly activities — with two full days to fit it into your schedule.
WineFestNJ — Saturday & Sunday, Valenzano Winery, Shamong
For a slightly different vibe, WineFest is happening the same weekend at Valenzano Winery. More than a dozen local New Jersey wineries pour their latest vintages in one spot — a good pick if you're looking for something more adult-oriented than a farm festival.
What about Tabernacle?
Tabernacle itself is quiet on the events front this weekend, but it's just minutes from all three of these — so residents don't have to travel far for a full weekend of fall plans.
Whichever you choose, it's a great weekend to get out and enjoy everything this corner of Burlington County has to offer.
